Miranda Hall

Miranda graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Georgetown University with a BA in English and Theater, and from the Yale School of Drama with an MFA in Playwriting. She is also a member of Alpha Sigma Nu, the Jesuit Honor Society. She has spent the past ten years teaching students of all ages (from elementary to college) as a lecturer at Georgetown University, Wesleyan University, and Macalester College, and with arts institutions around the country. She loves to teach writing (creative and academic), English, theater, executive skills, and humanities of all kinds. Miranda strives to create structured, compassionate learning environments in which students can grow in self-confidence and subject mastery. She believes in taking learning one step at a time, and in meeting students wherever they are with warmth and a sense of humor.
